The story of this car is an all too familiar eBay horror story.  I purchased this car at the height of the muscle car prices trying to relive my past.  I’m ashamed to say what I paid for it.

The car looked beautiful in the pictures with a fresh Hemi Orange paint job.  Shortly after getting the car I started noticing things that didn't look right.  To make a long story short, the previous owner had covered large amounts of rust with duct tape and body filler.  After getting over the initial nauseous feeling, my wife and I realized that we could not in good conscious sell this car to anyone else in its current condition, thus started my very first restoration in my two car garage.  I stripped the car apart, removed the paint, learned to weld and after more than five years, completed the job in Sept of this year.   The only part of the restoration I outsourced was the external paint.  The rest of the restoration and bodywork was done by me in my garage.  


The car is numbers matching with original body, engine and transmission,

I did have to take a small break on the restoration after I was diagnosed with cancer in late 2010, but after my treatment the work on the car became very therapeutic.
