About my Valiant
Just picked up this Scamp for my daughter as her first car. Glad it never had the vinyl top. The factory 145 HP /6 is now fed by an offenhauser with a Holley 390 cfm 4 bbl. Still assembling the car due to most parts were in the trunk.
Completed so far:
New 390 carb down from the 650 as purchased
To rear bumber flowmaster exhaust with cutout
Blacked out hood and BB stripe
Basic clean up
Passenger side mirror
Fix the heater, lose the A/C
Closed radiator system with over flow
Wiper arm seals, flushed 40 yrs ? out of the cowling
New door hinges
Front disc brakes
8-1/4" BBP 10" drum rear end
Upholstery
Sound proofing
Soon:
340 hood scoops
Real rims (whites are temporary)
The list goes on
