This is my 1971 Dodge Demon 340. It is a numbers matching hemi orange car, black bucket seats with charcoal gray inserts, center console. It retains it's original 340 with original '71 Carter Theroquad carburator,727 automatic transmission,8-3/4 sure grip rearend. I owned this car for almost 10 years, and I am probably the 7th or 8th owner. My car was a locally owned car and purchased from Lebanon Valley Dodge in Lebanon,PA by a guy in Ephrata,PA. It was later sold and came to live around the Lancaster/Millersville area, which a father bought it for his daughter after she started driving. Later on her brother bought it from her and drove it for a while till it got hit in the left front by a drunk driver. It got all fixed and and was purchased back by the sister and then somtime while she owned it the second time around it got rearended by a van that bowed out the quarter panels some and all they did to fix it was to put it on a frame puller and that straightend the quarter panels back out. Then it got sold again,it still stayed in the general area, and that fellow used to race it at times eventually blown the motor up later on. He had started to have a garage guy he knew in Ephrata,PA to work on the motor and either didn't have the funds or just lost interest and the garage guy bought the whole car from him and finished the motor rebuild and put back in the car. This garage is not far down the street from the original owner. Then again it sold to a fellow in Hershey,PA and I don't know how long he owned it but he got married and started going to church and they decided to try to sell the car because of the name(Demon). Then along comes me when passing a used car lot in Shaefferstown,PA he had a nice plum crazy 1971 duster there,340,4 speed car,it was sharp. Well the dealer said a nother guy was interested in it and that deal went through. I was a bit disappointed when he told me that car was sold until he perked me up about a 1971 Demon he could get and wanted to know if I would be interested in that. Well I told him to get it in and I will drive up a look at it. He got it in,I went up to check it out and I asked how much,he said the same price as the duster, which was $8500.00. Well you guessed it,I said let me talk to the bank and they said yes and I took my newly aquired car home. The dealer knew of the guy in Hershey who wanted to sell it and apparently bought it from him or something in that fashion. So know the car is back in the Millersville area and since I owned the car and taken it to car shows,I met 3 previous owners and have the names of all the owners listed for my reference. This is my ride and I enjoy every moment driving it. It not a restored car but just well taken cared of. Sometime it did get a repaint somewhere in the late 1980's to early 1990's and the paint still looks good with a few runs, some seat sections fixed, not redone completely, new carpet, original headliner with on hole poked in it. The only things I added to the looks was the hood scoops and rear spoiler. But what the heck,it's a driver, not a trailer queen. Thanks for reading.

Thanks for the kind words Cudaspaz. Just remember the Demon only lasted only 2 years '71-'72 because of the name. That owner I did meet told me he wouldn't of sold the car if it wasn't for him and his wife becoming christians. Well i'm not worried about the name,I got 2 more demon 340's that I am restoring slowly.

Dude, I teach sunday school and I would proudly drive that car to church with the name "demon" or not, and I'll bet my pastor would love the car too as he is a Mopar guy. Man, I can't believe the car was sold because of it's name, but I guess some people are bothered by that silly stuff. Anywhoo, great looking ride, with the hemi orange paint and killer front end,and nice interior styling, that car should be a real crowd pleaser.
