Bought her back in 93, Prior to her shut down for the rehab, she had 260,000 miles and still ran strong. But seeing as how she has served me well for 10+ years, it was time to give her some TLC. In Fall of 2003 the tear down began. The goal was to address all the issues she had, and build her into a very user friendly truck. Not a show truck, but a real usable truck. A full frame off rehab. The body, frame, rear, everything stripped and painted or coated.

Some items "upgraded" were:
Went to a 93 grill/radiator support
A heavy duty radiator
AirRide helper springs in rear
Sway bar
The gauges(added a tach, a 93 dodge speedo and quad gauges)
Power everything
Poly bushings throughout
Engine: Rv cam, edelbrock intake, Mopar orange ignition
Stereo
Tilt column
Several of my own ideas/modifications
And way too many other little things to begin to list.

If all goes right, she should be totally done Fall 2008

Nope, same old reliable 318, just with some mods, RV cam, bored out about .030, 4 barrel and edelbrock intake, the Mopar Orange ignition, and all backed up with the original 727, upgraded as well...

Are you rebuilding the old engine or swapping for something bigger? If so what?
