I have wanted a 1963 plymouth convertible since college in 1976. I cruised all over so cal with my buddy in his plymouth. Fast forward 30 some odd years found my car a light blue automatic transmission convertible 391 sure grip rear end, and has a radio delete. As I get into the resoration the excitement builds. The original motor went away approx 1970 so I am told. I have built a 1968 440 HP motor with original max wedge carbs intake exhaust the original radiator was intact but recored and a row added. The car was very rusty poorly done bondo galore, now all new metal in primer no bumpers, but this beautifull motor. I made the mistake of not getting squared off before engauging right foot we all no how that turned out, what a rush. Any one who knows the history of factory convertible race cars that were raced I would be excited to communicate with you. The car will be driven to the Medford, Oregon Crusie Show and shine, on Fathers Day weekend. I likley wont have completed the interior but really look forward to the event
