G'day from Australia, here's a few pics of my 1973 Dodge Charger Rallye, this is an original factory Sunroof car that I pulled out from under a tree near our local beach. The body needed a full resto due to the salt spray but everthing else was pretty good.Paint is factory FY1 Top Banana paint and the interior is still all original except the carpet. The speedo shows an original 34200 miles on the Rallye dash. Engine is Decked & balanced 440 running all the good stuff, Inlet manifold is a factory cast iron dual quad single plane running Edelbrocks that I believe is a 60s marine manifold.Heads are heavily ported 452 castings that flow quite well. Auto is a factory 727 Slap stick with a pistol grip shifter and the rear is a 8 3/4" rear with 3.23:1 ratio. Rubber is 245/50/15s out front & 295/50/15s rear, I had 265 BFs on the rear previous but the lack of grip was scary hence the 295s. Being in Aussie finding parts was very difficult but i'm very happy with the end result. All up the build time was approx 2 years with everything done by myself except the final paint. Being a suscriber and a Aussie Mopar Maniac I'd realy love to see it in your magazine and get a few comments from your readers. "Cheers"

Hey bloke - AWESOME - I'm from Oz too - Perth - and guess what? I've got one too that looks just like yours - mine's a factory sunroof SE that I converted to pillarless rear windows like your rallye. Did you find a source for sunroof seals - I had to invent my own via Clarke rubber - big hassles. 73 was definitely the best body style once you pulled in the crash bumpers like yours(I've done that as well)- pity bout the crappy isolated/small shock front end tho. Hey what do you mean factory dual quad - no 440 ever came dual quad?
