This is my car, and I've had it since I was 16 (1988).  Almost all of the work was done by my dad, and I did the grunt work.  I am the second owner, the car has been garage kept the entire time that I've owned it, and judging from the fact that there is virtually no rust on the car, I think the original owner garaged it as well.

The car was repainted in '89 to the gold color that you see in the pictures, it was originally a cream color (blech).  The car was originally a 318, two barrel, but we rebuilt a '71 383, four barrel and put it in in '93.  We upgraded to dual exhaust in '97.  We were pretty happy with the car from '97 until about 2005, just driving it occassionally and showing it, so we didn't change anything during that time.  Well within the past two years, I got the bug to "do stuff", so I had the following done: added a new aluminum radiator from BeCool;  upgraded to electronic ignition from MOPAR; added an aluminum intake and four barrel carb from Edelbrock; replaced all of the rubber on the front-end and rebuilt the front suspension; installed a front disc conversion kit with dual reservior master cylinder; new 16" aluminum wheels from American Racing; the interior was redone by Legendary Auto Interiors in the original dark gold / light gold colors; new light weight starter was added.

I still plan on upgrading the rear-end to something beefier, and adding rear disc brakes in the near future.  Also, I'll be adding anti-sway bars on the front and rear.

The car is just for cruising and shows, and that's evident by the fact that we've put less than 10,000 miles on the car in the past twenty years.
