I bought this car from Ludke auto group in Illinois, site unseen and let me say if anyone has looked on line at these, STOP!!!!!. They advertised this as a turn key General but it was far from it. All the bushings were gone. The engine had more leaks than the titanic. The wiring looked like it had been done from that robot from Lost In Space( sorry robot). The shocks! What shocks. This car should have never hit the road because it was a death trap to anyone who didnt have a clue to what was going on underneath.
Now after new bushings, shocks, brakes, rear seal, complete engine gasket change over, re wired, headers, cherry bomb glass packs, and numerous other things, this car should still not be on the road and is still a death trap, but not to its driver! To all the other rice burning pretenders that dare think of thenselves as muscle cars. Your nothing but kittens in a world of mountain lions.

This is Tony Silva, yeah I got hosed big time!  lets get these but wipes!!  If there is anyone else out there whom have bought their dream car from these crooks lets get together for a class action suit.  We may not get any money out of it but sticking it to these crooks will be sweet!

Yea, Luedtke Auto got the best of me too.  I'm looking into taking action against the company.  If anyone out there is interested, post a comment and if there is enough interest we'll go from there.  There has been quite a few of us.  Check out the following sites: http://www.medlawplus.com/classaction/otherusercomplaints.tpl  and   http://tonysilvajr.com/Charger.aspx  The second one is sad.  This guy got it light years worse than me.

Thanks for the reiteration on the seller. I was going to buy one from him a couple of years ago, and I did not get a good felling about it, so I checked him out and I found the same thing you are talking about.
I'm sorry you had this happen.
I since have restored one myself, and though I know what I have now it was a long and painful road. Actually for a couple more thousand dollars I could have bought one from Smith Brothers.
But anyway I'm glad I did it. All I have to do is put the flag on the roof and the pushbar, then it is ready for some cruise nights and shows. The car was salvaged from an interior fire.
