I whole heartedly agree...No after market parts. Its pretty annoying, Iam rebuilding an 86 D100 from the ground up am running into the exact same deal...love the truck, hate no aftermarket...But then again,, just means the ol dodge trucks are unique..which I prefer, i dont want something everyone else has

There were some issues with the tranny linkage. But easily fixed with a cable operated B&M Truck Mega shifter..

awesome choice! I am in the middle of trying to swap out my slant-6 for a 360 in my 82 d150 wish i could have found a 383 were there any major problems along the way???

I stubbled opon the 383.. I really lucked out!
I got it out of a 68 Coronet Station Wagon 79,000 miles on it & best part... IT WAS FREE $$$$
